Catalog Enrichment Enhancements

Add new field to show product in gallery

A new field name, show_product_in_gallery, has been added to the catalog enrichment file.

This field will control and map to an existing field in Foxtrot Product detail page called Show in Product Lists, which determines if a product listing will be shown in galleries with the View Choices CTA.

Field overview & rules:

  • Optional field - This is only applicable to products with variant options
  • Acceptable values 0- False, 1 - True
  • Default is 0 (False / not shown in gallery)

New field to set variant B2B Tax Exempt status

Only applicable if enabled for your organization - A new field b2b_tax_exempt, has been added to the catalog enrichment file.

This field allows admins to mark variants with specific B2B tax exemption cases used for downstream VAT reporting. Field overview & rules:

  • Accepted values: null ,-1 ,-2
  • If field header is included and blank, set to null
  • If field header is not included, do not change value

Ingestor Bug Fixes & Improvements

  • Improved error handling for missing Fulfillment Method values
    • newProduct: If a variant is missing a fulfillment method in the inventory file, a critical error will be raised and ingestion will fail.
    • inventory: If a variant is missing a fulfillment method value in the inventory file, no changes will be made to the fulfillment method
  • Catalog enrichment memory limits and improved error logging
    • Added a field size limits that impose a 500 KB limit per field (512,000 bytes) on catalog enrichment fields.
    • Rows containing fields longer than 500 KB (oversized long_description values) are now logged, skipped and the remaining valid rows are ingested rather than failing the entire process.
