Bulk Purchase: Request a Quote Page

Overview

The Bulk Purchase Request a Quote Page allows business users to view items available with special bulk purchase pricing and to request a quote to an organization's B2B team. On this page, users can view items available to be sold in bulk, including:

• Variant Information: Name, Extended Info, Images, UPC, etc.
• Pricing Information: Bulk Unit Price, Retail Price, Future Unit Price, Selling Units, and Bulk Price
• Users can download a CSV of all products sold by bulk
• User can submit a request of the bulk products they’re interesting in purchasing. This request will be emailed to the B2B department.
• All further communication, purchasing process, etc. is done offline directly with the B2B department

Admins can control and configure variants that are displayed on the Bulk Purchase page via Foxtrot and/or the catalog enrichment file:

• Which variants are displayed on the bulk purchase page
• Variant bulk purchase attributes: Bulk Unit Price, Bulk Selling Units, Future Unit Price, Future Price Effective Date

Bulk Purchase Page Features

Users can visit the page and view variants available for bulk purchase. The page has the following capabilities:

• Filter by Category, Brand
• Search by Product Name, UPC
• Bulk Export of catalog (Only available to logged-in users to avoid nefarious use of the export functionality)
• Select variants and quantities for bulk purchase
• Submit a request for a quote with the following information:
  • First & Last Name
  • Email Address
  • Phone #
  • Location (Postal Code or City, District, Ward depending on your organization)
  • Notes

Admin Configuration

Admins can control the variant's bulk purchase attributes and whether the variant is displayed on the bulk purchase page via Foxtrot or Catalog Enrichment file.

Foxtrot Variant Bulk Purchase Tab

Navigate to the Foxtrot Variant page, select a variant, and click the Bulk Purchase tab. Admins have the ability to set the following attributes for each variant:

Foxtrot Field	Required to display on Bulk Purchase Page	Definition
Bulk Purchase Eligible	Required	Checkbox to control whether the variant will be listed on the Bulk Purchase page
Bulk Unit Price	Required	Discounted bulk price for 1 unit
Bulk Selling Units	Required	The number of units included in the bulk purchase
Future Bulk Unit Price	Optional	The future bulk unit price. If not set, the field will be set to N/A
Future Bulk Price Effective Date	Optional	The future bulk unit price effective date. If not set, the field will be set to N/A

Catalog Enrichment Bulk Purchase Fields

Variant's bulk purchase attributes can be set in bulk via the Catalog Enrichment file. The following column headers are available to control bulk purchase attributes:

• show_in_bulk_purchase_list
• bulk_purchase_unit_price
• bulk_purchase_selling_units
• future_bulk_purchase_unit_price
• future_bulk_purchase_price_effective_date
