ACS/AMP: Points

This guide is only applicable for organizations that are integrated with ACS and AMP.

Loyalty users are able to earn and redeem points. Points are awarded upon order settlement. See details below for an overview of point scenarios and calculations.

Redeemed Points

The chart below explains what happens to a customer's redeemed points based on their order status.

Earned Points

The chart below explains what happens to a customer's earned points based on their order status.

Point Calculations

Below is a list of how earned points are calculated and the items on which customers cannot earn points.

  1. Points are earned on the order total at settlement, minus any delivery fees or taxes.
    Another way to think about it is that points are earned on the order subtotal, minus any discounts on the order.
  2. The below “items” are not included when calculating points earned on an order. Users do not earn points on the below:
    1. Delivery Charges
    2. Taxes
    3. Price Modifier Surcharges
  3. The below “discounts” are subtracted from the order subtotal before calculating the points earned on an order. User’s do not earn points on the below:
    1. Points/Rewards
    2. Promo Codes
    3. Negative Price Modifiers
