Xpress Admin & Shopper App

These tool are only applicable if they are enabled for your organization.

Xpress Admin tool is used for managing workers, order fulfillment, and inventory. Shopper App tool is specifically used for fulfilling orders. This guide will help you in utilizing these tools for managing order fulfillment, inventory, and workers.

See below for a glossary of Xpress Admin & Shopper App definitions:

  • Order Number: Order placed by the customer. Same order number as Foxtrot. May have multiple fulfillments (e.g. Express + Standard)

  • Fulfillment Number: Single fulfillment attached to an order. All assignments are made at the fulfillment level.

  • Fulfillment Type: Type attached to each fulfillment.

    • Local Delivery: Express delivery order with timeslot, can be delivered by internal rider or 3PL
    • In Store Pickup: Express pick up order with timeslot
    • Carrier Delivery: Standard/Parcel order with no timeslot, can only be delivered by 3PL
  • Request: A request is an assignment to a picker or a rider. Each request can contain one or multiple orders

  • Worker: Workers are created in Xpress admin who pick & deliver orders. Workers can be set to have 1 or more roles.

    • Roles:
      • Picker: Can shop for orders
      • Rider: Can deliver orders
      • Pick Up Manager: Can manage pick up orders and mark them as picked up
  • Unassigned orders: orders that have not been assigned to a picker yet (i.e. fulfillment hasn't started)

  • Payment tags:

    • Cash on Delivery: Payment needs to be collected by the internal rider or 3PL when the order is delivered
    • Cash on Pick Up: Payment needs to be collected by the pick up manager when the customer picks up the order
  • Order statuses:

    • New: Order has been received in the system, but hasn't been assigned yet
    • Received: Order has been assigned to a picker
    • Confirmed: Picker has confirmed the order and is ready to shop
    • Complete Shopping: Picker has finished shopping for the order
    • In Transit:
      • Internal Rider: Rider is on the way to deliver the order
      • 3PL: 3PL has picked up the order from the mall
    • Delivered: Internal Rider or 3PL has delivered the order. Applies to Express Delivery and Standard orders only.
    • Picked Up By Customer: Customer has collected the order at the store. Applies to Express Pickup orders only.
    • Cancelled: Order has been cancelled
    • Failed: Delivery has failed
