ACS/AMP: Reward Configuration
This guide is only applicable for organizations that are integrated with ACS and AMP.
Foxtrot admin users can configure default purchase rates and point multiplers for loyalty rewards.
Reward Config
In Foxtrot navigate to the Rewards Configs
page to manage default purchase rates, minimum points needed to apply, and global point multiplers. After updating a field, always save changes.
Default Purchase Rate
- The Default Purchase Rate is the amount of points earned for 1RM spent.
- The Default Purchase Rate controls the amount of Base Points an active ACS user earns on an order.
- If the Default Purchase Rate is set to 1 and a user spends RM50, the user will earn 50 Base Points.
- If the Default Purchase Rate is set to 2 and a user spends RM50, the user will earn 100 Base Points.
- While this amount is configurable, we can expect that it will always be set to 1.
Minimum Points Needed to Apply
- This is the amount of available points a user must have in their balance in order to redeem at checkout.
- While this amount is configurable, we can expect that it will always be set to 200.
Global Point Multipler
-
The Global Point Multipler is the amount that base points will be multiplied by for a bonus. Global Point Multipler applies to all base points.
-
Global Point Multipler field should be blank if there is no active point multipler
-
Start Date
andEnd Date
reference the Global Point Multipler field- Start and end date are required to save a global point multipler
- Global point multipler will only apply if in the bounds of a start and end date
- Global point multiplers will no longer apply once it reaches the end date
- You are able to set start dates in advance
-
All incremental points earned from the Point Multipler will be displayed as Bonus Points on site.
- The original Base Points earned are subtracted from the new total to determine how many Bonus Points are earned from the Global Point Multipler.
-
Example Calculation If
Global Point Multipler
is set to 3:- User spends RM 100
- Base Points = 100 Pts
- Multiply 100 x 3 = 300 Pts
Total Points = 300 Pts
Base Points =100 Pts
Bonus Points = 200 Pts

Fixed Point Bonus
In Foxtrot use the Promotions page to set a Fixed Point Bonus
on items, categories or brands.
-
A Fixed Point Bonus is a flat amount of bonus points added on top of the default purchase rate that can be awarded for shopping select items, categories or brands.
Example Calculation:Base Points = 100 Pts
Fixed Point Bonus = 50 Pts
Total = 150 Pts
In this example there are 100 Base Points and 50 Bonus Points
-
Fixed point bonuses are managed on the promotions page in Foxtrot. Set the amount of bonus points a user will earn for each unit purchased of the selected variants, categories, or brands set within the promotion. Amount must be set in the Fixed Point Bonus field.
- This field can not be used in combination with other discount types (e.g. Percent Discounts or Flat Discounts).
- This field can be used in combination with promotional features such as countdowns and campaign badges.
-
If there is a Global Point Multipler set, the Fixed Point Bonus is added last when calculating points.
Example Calculation If Global Point Multipler is set to 3:Base Points = 100 Pts
Multiply 100 x 3 = 300 Pts ---A
Fixed Point Bonus = 50 Pts ---B
Total (A + B) = 350 Pts
In this example there are 100 Base Points and 250 Bonus Points
-
Customer will earn the Fixed Point Bonus amount for each unit of applicable items that they purchase.
E.g. If GID X has a Fixed Point Bonus of 20 and a customer orders 2 units, they will earn 40 bonus points.
